Description

Uses:

1. Impetigo

   • A highly contagious skin infection, common in children

   • Causes red sores, blisters, or crusting

2. Infected cuts, wounds, or burns

   • Prevents or treats bacterial growth in minor injuries

3. Folliculitis

   • Infection of hair follicles (small red bumps or pus-filled lesions)

4. Boils (Furuncles) and Carbuncles

   • Localized pus-filled infections of the skin or hair follicles

5. Infected eczema or dermatitis

   • When scratching leads to secondary bacterial infection

6. Acne with secondary bacterial infection

   • Sometimes prescribed if acne becomes infected
